Description:

This beautiful plant bulb was obtained by crosses of other ornamental plants. It has alarge bulb of 12-15 cm in diameter, which when in bloom reaches a height of about 40-60 cm. Its leaves are lanceolate and thick dark green and shiny. Its large flowersappear in spring lasting up to 3 weeks, some last up to 6 weeks.

 

Care and cultivation:

This plant needs little care, you just need to seeks to place in a shady spot with plenty of light, even supporting partial shade exposures. The soil must be sandy and rich in organic matter. Combiene that by planting the bulb not completely buried. It requires no great demands for irrigation, as it is very adapted to dry climates.

 

Multiplication:

By separating the suckers that appear next to the mother bulb or seed.

 

Uses:

Plant widely used as a pot plant, but not very cold climates can be grown on land, inbeds of flowering plants.
